£103m Chelsea transfer target opens door to Chelsea move, Blues to offer Hakim Ziyech for £78million Spanish player, as Tuchel sends Pulisic massive Eden Hazard message

Atletico Madrid goalkeeper and Chelsea transfer target Jan Oblak has left the door open to a Premier League move in the future.

Oblak is rated as one of the best goalkeepers in the world after keeping 157 cleansheets in 298 appearances for Atletico Madrid.

“The Premier League has strong teams,” Oblak told Guillem Balague. “Maybe the strongest. But I think in the end it is what the coach is asking of you. You listen to his instructions.

“You are one of the 11, so you do what he asks of you. All the players on the pitch are thinking like that. It doesn’t matter if it’s the Premier League, Italian league, Spanish league, wherever you go you need to do what the coach is asking you to do.

“I don’t know what the future will bring, but I am sure that in any league I would play I could play well. You never know what will happen in the future.

“Now I have been in Spain for seven years. Let’s see. I’m still young. Not so young anymore, but I still have some years in front of me.

“The most important thing for me is the hope that I do not suffer any injuries. Let’s see what the future will bring.”

However, Oblak has a release clause of £103m.

Blues to offer Hakim Ziyech for £78million Spanish player

According to reports in Spain via Daily Mail, Chelsea are ready to offer Hakim Ziyech as part of a deal to sign Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.

Ziyech has struggled to establish himself at Chelsea under Thomas Tuchel and reports claim he could be offered to Sevilla in a swap deal for Kounde.

Kounde has a release clause of £78million, an amount Chelsea are reportedly unwilling to meet.

Kounde has played 44 matches in all competitions for Sevilla this campaign, chipping in with four goals for his side.

Tuchel reveals what Pulisic must do following comparisons with Eden Hazard

Christian Pulisic was one of our star performers as the Blues drew 1-1 away at Real Madrid on Tuesday night.

Pulisic has been compared with former Chelsea star Eden Hazard, a player he almost shared a pitch with on Tuesday. Our American came off in the same minute our former star was introduced into the Real team.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel believes Pulisic has to live with the comparisons with Eden Hazard especially after taking Hazard’s no.10 shirt at Chelsea.

“He [Pulisic] took his [Hazard’s Chelsea] shirt number so now he has to live with it!” Tuchel said.

“So he has a bit of influence on the comparisons, but if people do this [compare], maybe they think about it in the best way.”
