Arsenal star Aubameyang fires clear warning to Chelsea ahead of FA Cup clash

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is determined to lift the FA Cup at Wembley and had a simple message for Chelsea – “It’s our competition.”

Despite many predicting that Manchester United would be playing Manchester City in the final this weekend, both Arsenal and Chelsea pulled out some shock results to make it an all London final, pitting Frank Lampard and Mikel Arteta against each other once again.

No club has won the competition more times than Arsenal and they will be bidding to add a 14th FA Cup to their trophy collection on Saturday as they face off against London rivals Chelsea, the side they beat in the 2017 final.

And ahead of the final, Aubameyang has sent a warning to the London rivals and warned that he is looking to win the famous cup, in a game that could be his very last at the club as rumours suggest that he is leaving the Emirates.

“I can’t wait for the final – my first in this famous competition,” Aubameyang was quoted on the TalkSport website

“I know it’s tough for supporters that they can’t be there, but we understand how much it means to them, particularly when we play local rivals too.

“As players we know what the FA Cup represents to this club. We could see the amazing banners of all our wins at the semi-final – it’s our competition.”
