Aston Villa boss sends massive warning about Tammy Abraham after Chelsea’s 2-1 victory over Aston Villa

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham returned from injury to score his 11th Premier League goal of the season in Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Aston Villa on Wednesday night at Stamford Bridge.

Abraham then assisted team-mate Mason Mount to put Chelsea 2-1 up in the second-half after Villa had equalised.

Abraham spent time on loan at Aston Villa last season working under Dean Smith and the Aston Villa boss has warned the rest of the league that the 22 year old striker will just keep on getting better after scoring his 11th Premier League goal of the season against Aston Villa.

“He will get better and better as he goes on. He has played 120 odd games,” Dean Smith said about Abraham.

Smith also added that Chelsea deserved to win Aston Villa. “I thought there were three Kante’s on the pitch. Chelsea have top players,” he added.

“The best team won on the night. We grew into each half. Disappointed with the manner of the goals, two crosses.

“We want to be a passing and moving team, but we didn’t move it quick enough.
