Balague opens up and officially tells Chelsea Martinez has agreed personal terms over summer move

Barcelona have agreed personal terms with Chelsea fc target Lautaro Martinez, according to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague. Despite the Coronavirus putting a hold to the Premier League season and despite the fact that the transfer window is still months away, there has been alot of speculation in the media about possible arrivals to Stamford Bridge, with a striker on the agenda.

It is no secret that Frank Lampard is keen to improve this side with some big time signings, and reports in the media have suggested he will indeed get the £200 million it will take to sign some top-class, big-time names players in the summer, with a striker on the list

Olivier Giroud is seemingly destined to pack his bags and leave the club at the end of the season having failed to agree a move away in the January window, while Mitchy batshuayi is more of a thirds-choice striker that is only needed when the other two are injured or need to rest.

Martinez has been in a rich vein of form this season, scoring 16 goals in all competitions and drawing interest from top European clubs, with reports Barcelona have identified Martinez and Neymar as their top priority summer signings, but Chelsea fc had hoped to swoop in and take him to the Bridge

However, Balague has opened up and claimed that Chelsea have missed out on Martinez, as he has agreed personal terms with Barcelona: “There’s an agreement between Barcelona and the player, the player and Barcelona, that’s all,” Balague said on his YouTube channel.

“Not Inter and Barcelona and because of it, it needs to be agreed. “Inter is open to negotiate, Lautaro Martinez obviously happy to go to Barcelona, Barcelona happy to have him, but they cannot afford him in terms of only paying cash so they want to offer players.”

LOOK, Nobody really knows if an agreement has been put in place, it is just all speculation right now. But IF, and we say IF, Barcelona have snapped him up, it will be a massive disappointment to Chelsea fc as he would have made then title contenders.
