Bayern Munich boss response to David Alaba to Chelsea transfer

The blues have been linked with a January move for Bayern Munich left-back David Alaba with a move for Ben Chilwell looking unlikely due to Leicester City’s reluctance to sell.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is keen on strengthening Chelsea’s left-back position after losing faith in Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso.

According to reports, the Blues are lining up a £60million offer for the experienced left-back, who has 18 months remaining on his Allianz Arena contract.

Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick has responded to Chelsea’s interest in David Alaba.

According to Flick, the 27 year old Bayern Munich left-back isn’t for sale.

“He is not for sale,” the interim head coach said when asked about Chelsea’s interest in Alaba.

Alaba has won eight Bundesliga titles and one Champions League with Bayern since graduating from the academy in 2009.
