Ethan Ampadu has put in two very impressive performances for Wales in the last few days.

Against the Republic of Ireland, the 17-year-old was imperious in the centre of the park and dictated the game, despite being surrounded by far more experienced and decorated players.

Against Denmark, the Chelsea man once again showed his maturity to put in an eye-catching performance, despite having been unfortunate to concede a penalty to the Danes.

In Ryan Giggs’ side, the 6ft tall Ampadu has displayed a wonderful, accurate range of passing and his supreme ability to read the game and break up opposition attacks.

Despite his young age, he also boasts the physicality needed to effectively shield his defence.

His performances whilst on international duty have certainly excited plenty of Chelsea fans, who will hope to see Maurizio Sarri give the talented teenager his chance to shine at Stamford Bridge this season.

Following Ampadu’s most recent outing for Wales, plenty of Blues fans took to Twitter to praise his development and express their excitement for his future with the club…

Ampadu is more matured than RLC…and to think Ampadu is a CB, guy understand more how to be a midfielder than RLC that is the real midfielder…Always making himself available for passes… his teammates won’t have a choice than to give him ball even if he’s not the best option

Look at the way Ethan Ampadu tells his elder brothers what to do with the ball. This lad is fearfully and wonderfully made. https://t.co/gEArDmmbhu
