BR: Real Madrid ready to let £63m-rated ‘World-class’ player join Chelsea for just £22.5 million

According to reports in Spain, Spanish giants Real Madrid are willing to let Chelsea transfer target James Rodriguez leave the Bernabeu this summer for just £22.5 million.

Spanish publication Marca claim Real Madrid are keen on selling the Colombian international this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer next summer.

The report also claims that the Colombian is eager to leave the Bernabeu this summer with several English clubs interested in signing him. Manchester United, Arsenal, Everton and Wolves are all keen on the Colombian.

James is said to have been on the brink of a move to Atletico Madrid last summer, but Real Madrid pulled out of the deal as they did not want to sell to their bitter rivals.

The attacking midfielder earns €7 million (£6.3m) at Madrid and offloading him would help the Spanish club ease their financial worries.
