BREAKING: Chelsea Keen to sign competition for Kepa after conceding too many goals

Kepa Arrizabalaga is currently the most expensive goalkeeper in the world, following his £71.6 million from Athletic Bilbao in 2018. Kepa’s recent form has been below par, and the Chelsea goalkeeper has come under criticisms of late.

According to Bleacher Report, sources close to Chelsea’s managerial staff have told them that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is keen for recruitment staff to start work on finding potential new goalkeepers for the 2020/21 season.

Meanwhile, ESPN pundit Alejandro Moreno said after Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Valencia that the Blues won’t go far in the competition with Kepa in goal.

“What I saw today is reasons as to why both of these teams, even if they advance in this competition, they’re going nowhere in this competition,” Moreno told ESPN FC.

“They have to defend better. They have to be more organised.

“And in the case of Chelsea, I know he made a penalty save, Kepa has to be better.

“I’ve turned the page on this guy. I don’t think this guy is for real. “Too many goals in too many key moments and too many of those goals are too soft.”
