While Chelsea have been linked with signing Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho, the Blues could lose their own ‘Jadon Sancho’, as Chelsea youngster Charlie Webster has been hailed for his similarities with the former Manchester City starlet.
According to reports, Chelsea stand the risk of losing the highly-rated 16-year-old, with Borussia Dortmund keen on launching a bid for the teenage midfielder.
Webster has already represented England at Under-16 and Under-17 level, while he was named player of the tournament at the Kevin De Bruyne Under-15s Cup in Belgium last season.
The Sun claim that Dortmund have been alerted to Webster’s potential availability and believe they could fast track him into their first team as they did with Jadon Sancho following his move from Manchester City three years ago.
The German side has built a reputation for targeting young players with potential and nurturing them to become top stars.
