Charlie Nicholas makes ‘Shocking’ prediction for Bournemouth vs Chelsea

Former Arsenal striker and football pundit Charlie Nicholas predicted that Chelsea would be beaten 3-1 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League clash at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night, and the Blues lost that game 3-0.

Chelsea’s next game is away to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday evening, and Nicholas is predicting another bad result for the Blues.

Charlie Nicholas doesn’t see Chelsea winning this game and has predicted that the match will end in a draw.

“This is another good test for Chelsea, who were shown up against Bayern Munich,” former Arsenal striker wrote Charlie Nicholas in his Sky Sports column.

“Bournemouth know what it means, and what they need to do to survive. I thought they were treated harshly at Burnley

[a 3-0 loss for the Cherries]. The footballing network does not have a sympathy button. They folded when decisions went against them, which in a way was understandable.

“Chelsea are effective on the counter-attack, but their home form is terrible. There is an awkwardness with Chelsea only hanging three points above Manchester United, with the others honing in too.

“Bournemouth are going to go all out for this. I feel they will and have to get something from this, with Chelsea’s Champions League tie taking quite a bit out of them.”

Charlie Nicholas predicted a 2-2 draw for this game.

Bournemouth defeated Chelsea at Stamford Bridge 1-0 back in December, and have won the last two games against the Blues.
