Chelsea and Juventus ‘agrees personal terms’ for highly-rated attacker

Chelsea are the most active clubs in the transfer market so far this summer and have completed some world class signings so far.

However, Some news reached us late last night that we were not to fond of hearing, to say the least.

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has agreed a 2 year contract to join Serie A side Juventus, according to the reliable Sky Italia Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

Juventus are the only club that the veteran French international will join, and suggestions are that Chelsea will ask 5 million euros for his services.

It remains to be seen whether Frank Lampard’s side will entertain this move, but they do have three current strikers who will all be looking to play as the regular pick.

Seeing as Lampard predominantly plays with a sole striker, this means two of them could end up being disappointed more often than not.

Giroud has been an excellent professional at Chelsea and he has become a real fan favourite. Whether he has now asked to leave the club or not, his potential sale will not go down well!
