Chelsea board set to complete massive £100m double transfer to sign World-class defenders

Chelsea are still in the market as the Blues look to massively improve their squad ahead of next season. Frank Lampard has been reported to be prioritizing signing defenders now as he wants to add more quality defenders to his side in the summer.

Chelsea are now ready to complete a massive double deal to sign Dayot Upamecano and Alex Telles in the coming weeks.

The Blues defence has been a major cause of concern for Frank Lampard this season as his side has conceded so many goals. The English manager has failed to find a stable Centre-back partnership and he is now set to sign highly rated Dayot Upamecano.

Dayot Upamecano is regarded as one of the best young defenders in Europe this season and the player has caught the interest of the Blues with his impressive performances for Leipzig.

Chelsea have already sign Timo Werner from Leipzig and they are now set to raid the German club again for Upamecano. The defender will cost Chelsea in the region of £60m as he is highly rated by RB Leipzig.

Alex Telles is regarded as one of the best attacking full-backs in Europe and his tremendous performances for Porto has impressed Chelsea scouts. The Left-back has scored 11 goals and laid Nine assist for Porto and his stats shows how effective he is in attack and defense.

Chelsea seemed to have lost out on the race to sign Alex Telles to PSG but the Blues transfer chiefs are now in talks with Porto and they are set to agree a fee in the region of £40m for the Brazilian. The arrival of both defenders will massively bolster Chelsea’s defence as the London club seeks to compete for trophies next season.
