Chelsea could re-sign€150m-rated world-class attacker next summer

London club are reportedly already putting out feelers over re-signing Eden Hazard from Real Madrid in a surprise transfer. Chelsea are considering a deal to bring Belgium international back to London club after his slow start at the Santiago Bernabeu. La Liga giants keep a close eye on PSG forward Kylian Mbappe.

It stays to be seen if this will happen, but the report explains that the London club will keep an eye on the 28-year-old attacker’s situation. They add that Los Blancos could be open to letting Eden go as well after his struggles to settle in Spain since his summer move.

It’s also worth noting that Christian Pulisic has not been too convincing so far after coming in to replace Hazard, even if his form has picked up in recent matches.

There is undoubtedly still room for the Belgian star in Frank Lampard’s attack, with the former Chelsea man a legendary performer in his seven years in west London.

London club fans would undoubtedly welcome Eden Hazard back if he decides the move to Madrid has not worked out as he would have hoped. In this campaign, Eden played eight matches, scored one goal and provided three assists in all tournaments.

Hazard is contracted with the Spanish giants until 2024, and his release clause is around €150m.

Chelsea started this season impressively as they are in a fourth place in the Premier League table. Blues signed Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid and Christian Pulsiic from Borussia Dortmund recently. London club are unable to sign new footballers until next summer due to transfer ban.
