Thibaut Courtois’ performance for Real Madrid against Manchester City has given cheered up some Chelsea supporters.
Despite his exit, Chelsea fans continue to keep an eye on the goalkeeper’s progress.
Courtois was in action against Man City in the Champions League round of 16 first-leg at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night and some feel he could have done better with Gabriel Jesus’ equaliser.
The Brazilian got in behind Sergio Ramos to guide a header at goal and Courtois didn’t react quick enough and had to pick the ball out of his net.
As expected, this prompted a big discussion on social media as some were critical of Courtois’ role in Jesus’ goal, but others pointed out his save in the first-half to criticise Kepa.
