Chelsea morning headlines as Hudson-Odoi released on bail but on one condition

According to Daily Mail, Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi was arrested on suspicion of rape in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Metropolitan Police officers were called to Hudson-Odoi’s Battersea apartment after receiving a call from a model he met online, who alleged she had been attacked by the Chelsea player and England international.

The 19-year-old was taken into police custody before being released on bail with the woman in question visiting hospital.

When asked about the incident, a representative of the player denied the charges to the Daily Mail.

“When emergency services attended, a woman reported that she was raped. She was taken to hospital.

“A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of rape. He was released from custody and bailed to return on a date in mid-June.”

Chelsea have yet to comment on the allegations.
