Chelsea owner Abramovich makes Dybala decision because of two players

WHAT IS ROMAN ABRAMOVICH’S DECISION?

According to Calciomercato, Abramovich has decided not to sign Dybala, because Chelsea already have Ziyech and Havertz. Chelsea spent around $120 million in total by signing just these two players. Havertz was signed by the club for $80 million, while Ziyech arrived for $40 million.

The idea behind the refusal to sign Dyabal is to protect the $100 million investment. The Blues don’t want to make Ziyech and Havertz feel unsettled by signing Dybala. If Chelsea signs Dybala it would make the pair feel that the club doesn’t trust them.

Abramovich believes that the duo can guide Chelsea to glory with big trophies. The Morrocan has been in very good form for the club this season. He is slowly becoming a leader on the pitch and he is very pivotal to Frank Lampard.

While Havertz is yet to find his feet but slowly he is turning things around. Lampard seems to have to found his best position as well. The youngster is only 21 years old and he has plenty of time to showcase his potential.

IS ROMAN ABRAMOVICH MAKING A MISTAKE BY NOT SIGNING DYBALA?
Is Roman Abramovich making a mistake by not signing Dybala?
There is no doubt that Dybala is a very good player. However, Ziyech and Havertz are also very good players. It is often said to many cooks spoil the dish. If Chelsea signs Dybala they will have three players who have a similar playing style.

Thus it is the correct decision to not sign Dybala. Also, it won’t be easy to sign the Argentinian. There will be other clubs who will be interested in signing him. Juventus will demand a huge fee for him given his talent, experience, and age.

While Chelsea needs to give more time to Ziyech and Havertz. Both of them are very good players but it will take them some time to show their best form. With recent victories, it looks like Chelsea are heading in that direction.

It is likely that if Chelsea signs Dybala he will also need some time to settle in the Premier League. Thus the Blues will be back to square one. Also, the physical nature of English football might not suit the former Palermo forward.
