Chelsea set to bid €60m and €40m for maurizio sarri transfer targets

Chelsea are reportedly set to make a huge double-bid for Juventus stars Daniele Rugani and Gonzalo Higuain.

With Maurizio Sarri thought to be on the verge of taking charge at Stamford Bridge, it would come as no surprise to see the two aforementioned players arrive with him.

Rugani previously worked alongside the former Napoli manager during his time on-loan with Empoli, while Higuain enjoyed the most prolific period of his career under Sarri’s stewardship at the Stadio San Paolo.

Reports in Italy appear convinced that Chelsea will target both players this summer, but recruiting them may require Sarri parting with an almighty chunk of his transfer budget.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea are set to approach Juventus with a €100M offer for the duo. Higuain and Rugani are valued at €60M and €40M respectively, with the Blues thought to be prepared to meet both of their asking prices in order to get the deals done.
