According to The Athletic’s Simon Johnson, Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has been named Chelsea’s Player of the Season so far by.
Mount has contributed 6 goals and 4 assists in 29 PL outings for the Blues so far, whilst also earning himself senior international recognition for England.
Asked by fans about Chelsea’s player of the season, Johnson replied: “Mason Mount, the only man to have played in all 29 Premier League games.
“That is a remarkable achievement given it’s his first year as a member of the senior squad.
“Yes, there have been dips in form, but six goals in the top flight is a credible return and his maturity with handling the spotlight, as well as criticism online, has also impressed.”
