CONFIRMED: 4 Chelsea players nominated for FIFA Player of the Year award
FIFA have released their full list of nominees for The Best FIFA Football Awards 2020 and Chelsea have as many as four players on the list.
Ahead of this year’s ceremony on 17 December, FIFA have announced their full list of candidates for the seven individual trophies on offer – with public voting open until 9 December at 11:59pm on FIFA.com.
Three Chelsea players were nominated for the Best FIFA Women’s Player award. Pernille Harder, Sam Kerr and Ji So-yun (all of Chelsea FC Women) were nominated for the award.
Chelsea FC Women goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger was nominated for the Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper award.
Chelsea FC Women manager Emma Hayes was nominated for the Best FIFA Women’s Coach award.
