CONFIRMED: 4 Everton ‘Key players’ to miss Chelsea clash

Ahead of today’s Premier league clash between Everton and Chelsea, Four Everton players will miss Saturday’s Premier League game against Chelsea at Goodison Park.

Everton remain without Lucas Digne and Seamus Coleman, meaning that Alex Iwobi and Tom Davies are having to play out of position at wing-back.

Fabian Delph was used in that position against Burnley, but the injury-plagued midfielder hobbled off and is set for another spell on the sidelines.

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti confirmed Everton playmaker James Rodriguez will miss the game against Chelsea.

“He had a charge on his muscle on his calf after the game against Burnley,” said Ancelotti.

“He was not able to train, nothing special, he wasn’t able to train, I don’t want to take a risk and play a player who wasn’t able to train this week.

“We have to look at him after the game if he will be available to train and play against Leicester.”
