CONFIRMED: Marina Granovskaia working on two ‘massive’ transfers ahead of January transfer window

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia has decided on two major priorities for the January transfer window. This is According to Daily Express.

The report claims Granovskaia has prioritised signing Declan Rice from West Ham and getting a loan club for Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori to help his development.

Chelsea missed out on signing Rice during the summer transfer window and still remain determined to sign the England international.

Rice himself is apparently eager to join the Blues, having come through the club’s academy. He is still good friends with Mason Mount, and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano believes he would prioritise a move to Stamford Bridge over any other club.

Tomori has been pushed down the pecking order as a result of Thiago Silva’s arrival at the club and Granovskaia recognises lack of game time isn’t ideal for the defender’s development.
