According to reports, Chelsea have reportedly agreed a five year contract with Kai Havertz but are yet to agree a transfer fee with Bayer Leverkusen.
Chelsea are reportedly in deep talks to complete a move for the 21-year-old and are closing in on agreeing a fee.
According to Daily Express, Bayer Leverkusen are demanding £90million for Havertz but that is £20m more than Chelsea transfer chief Marina Granovskaia is willing to pay for the 21 year old.
Havertz has told club bosses he wishes to leave for Chelsea and Leverkusen’s 2-1 Europa League quarter-final loss to Inter Milan on Monday is likely to be his last game for the Bundesliga side.
