CONFIRMED! Unhappy Chelsea player to join Sevilla in January

According to Spanish media outlet Estadio Deportivo, Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga will leave the club on loan in January, amid interest from Sevilla.

Kepa has struggled at Stamford Bridge since joining in a record £71.6m deal from Athletic Bilbao in August 2018 and is now behind recent signing Edouard Mendy in the pecking order.

Chelsea are reluctant to sell Kepa on the cheap after signing him on a world record deal in 2018 and prefer a loan move for the Spanish goalkeeper instead.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is said to be behind the decision to send Kepa out on loan in January in the hope of giving the 26-year-old a chance to rebuild his confidence elsewhere.
