Deal Done! Billy Gilmour brother will join Chelsea “when the time is right”

Billy Gilmour has been outstanding so far this season for Chelsea, getting in to the first team for our last two games and excelled against both Liverpool and Everton and also win the man of the match of both games that’s an Incredible record if you ask me.

But as good as he looks – and he looks very good – he may have a rival in his own family. His younger brother Harvey plays for Kilmarnock, and while he’s only 14, is apparently being lined up to come to Chelsea before long.

According to The Daily Mail, he will join Chelsea “when the time is right,” citing reports from an unnamed source.

They go on to say “some say will become an even better player than his older brother” – which seems a difficult prediction to make given his young age, but let’s hope it’s true.

Chelsea will surely have the edge on other interested teams, given the success Billy is having here, further vindication of the policy to start playing the many fantastically talented youth players we have on a more regular basis.

Billy was signed when he wasn’t much older than his brother – so keep a close eye on this one.
