Dunki-ing on his way to Stamford Bridge as Chelsea hold internal discussions with Premier League defender

According to reports, Chelsea are reportedly making a shock move for Brighton star Lewis Dunk this summer transfer window, and have already held internal discussions about a possible deal.

However, The Football Insider claim that the 28-year-old has emerged as a target for Frank Lampard this summer, and the Blues have held internal discussions about the possibility of signing the Premier League defender.

Dunk has become one of the most standout performers of the Premier League over the last 12 months and his performances has led to a lot of speculation in the media that he is now ready to make that next step and play for one of the Premier League’s biggest clubs.

His leadership, ability and quality on the ball is something that Lampard would love to add to his side in the transfer windows, and the fact that he is proven in the Premier League, well, that would be a massive benefit to Chelsea.

Look, the Blues have a big budget and can spend some serious money this coming transfer window if they really wish too, so if they can go out and get Dunk, then he would be a very solid addition to the Chelsea back-line.

Chelsea fans have their options on whom they believe that the club should try and sign, but at the end of the day, Dunk is a leader, winner and a man that should be playing at a club like Chelsea.

Do you think Dunk is the right man for Chelsea?
