Eden Hazard send big warning to premier league rivals

Eden Hazard has warned Premier League opponents he will keep coming back for more, no matter how hard they kick him.

The Chelsea playmaker was on the receiving end of some roughhouse tactics during Sunday’s 2-1 win at Newcastle, Matt Ritchie among those leaving their mark on the Belgian.

But Hazard refused to shy away and scored his side’s opening goal from the penalty spot during a man-of-the-match performance.

‘The Premier League is always like this – every weekend is the same,’ said Hazard, who was making his first start of the season.

‘But I’m not complaining, I try to do my job and when you have the ball, you get kicked, so no complaints. You just try to play better.

‘I felt tired after the game but, at the end, I was happy with the result and the goal. When you win games you forget that you are tired so now we have one week to rest and be ready for the next game.’

Chelsea are joint top on nine points after three games, and Hazard added:

‘We need to keep this momentum. We want to be at the top at the end of the season.

‘This is just the beginning, but confidence is coming and goals are coming too.’
