Eden Hazard unveils chat with Daniel Sturridge & assesses Chelsea title ambition

Hazard considers the 1-1 draw with the reds a fair result
He’s disappointed not to have scored a brace

The Belgian challenges L’pool and City for the title
Finally, he’s happy for Sturridge who scored a fantastic equaliser
Eden Hazard spoke to BT Sport after the game:

“When you are winning 1-0 and concede a goal at the end you can be sad but I think the draw is the fair result. I am a bit disappointed I didn’t score in the second half.

“I think we can challenge against Liverpool, with City too these are the best teams in the country. We are not far, we are winning games and confidence is high.”

Hazard was seen chatting with Daniel Sturridge after the game. He revealed their talk: ”I said to him [Sturridge] the goal was not bad. He scored twice. One on Wednesday [in the Carabao Cup], one today. Maybe he tries to be like me [laughs].

”But no, he’s a great great player. I had a chance to play with him a bit at Chelsea [in 2012-2013]. I know he’s a fantastic player.

”He had a lot of injuries but when he’s on the pitch he can score goals like this. I’m not happy for Chelsea but happy for him.”
