Former Chelsea star Eden hazard to sign for Premier League club after latest development?

Real Madrid star Eden Hazard has could be returning to the English Premier League after struggling at the Bernabeu since his big-money move from Chelsea back in the summer transfer window of 2019.

Eden Hazard was tipped to be a perfect replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo – who had left for Juventus 12 months before, the reason why a huge investment was made to land him at the club.

The Belgium international was a star at Stamford Bridge and was almost named in the legend’s book but he opted for a move away and that was the beginning of a dwindling career.

Eden Hazard was favoured with just 16 La Liga appearances last term, managing a mere four goal involvements as a result. He has also battled with injuries and that reduced his appearances to four in La Liga so far this season.

Man City manager will not mind a sensational transfer for the Belgium star as he looks to improve his squad at the end of the season so as to get back to competing again.

Pep Guardiola is still positive about Eden Hazard and thinks the 29-year-old would shine alongside compatriot Kevin De Bruyne at club level, with the pair both brilliant. He will take the chance of it comes.

The City boss defended the former Chelsea star earlier in the year, saying he’s ‘above’ the level of a top player.

“Not a top player, another level above, What we saw in England… he is world-class. The whole world knows that you need a period of adaptation.”

However, it is not certain if Real Madrid will seek to part ways with the former Chelsea player but with the prospect of having Erling Haaland, Eduardo Camavinga and Kylian Mbappe, next season, he could be forced to leave.

Pep Guardiola has also reportedly told the Manchester City hierarchy of his desire to land Eden Hazard and what ultimately happens is something only time will tell.
