Four players Marina Granovskaia set to sign for Chelsea to solve Tuchel’s problem position

Chelsea have their eyes set on a blockbuster summer signing to catapult Thomas Tuchel’s men into Premier League contention.

The German coach has put the club back on course to qualify for the Champions League through the Premier League and are 90 minutes away from lifting the trophy this season, after seeing off Real Madrid in the semi-finals on Wednesday night.

Manchester City await in the final and if Chelsea want to challenge for the Premier League title next term, then recruiting a goal-scorer will be key. Timo Werner and Kai Havertz have both struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League and their best positions within Chelsea’s attack remain unclear.

According to reports from Football London, Chelsea could bring in numerous players to the squad.

Sergio Aguero
The Manchester City forward will leave the Etihad Stadium on a free transfer this summer after over a decade of service.

Aguero has been one of the Premier League’s greatest foreign imports, becoming City’s top goal-scorer whilst winning four titles in the process.

His next destination is yet to be decided, though the Argentine proved he still had plenty of top-class pedigree left in the tank as he rolled back the years with a superb solo goal against Crystal Palace last weekend.

As a free agent, Aguero has the pedigree and goal-scoring track record to help Chelsea score the goals that their build-up and possession play deserves. He’s still as clinical in front of goal as ever.

Harry Kane
Harry Kane is at a crossroads in his career. He knows he needs to leave Tottenham Hotspur in pursuit of major honours but at the age of 27, with three years on his deal, and in a post-COVID market, who would pay the money to get him out?

Well, Chelsea might? Roman Abramovic has always been renowned as a ruthless operator, in respect to managers and in the transfer window.

Signing Kane would be the icing on the cake for this Chelsea team and would give Guardiola a true competitor to feel. It’s obvious to anyone that has watched the Blues how much Tuchel has improved them defensively and in possession. Adding a ruthless finisher such as Kane would tick all the boxes for Abramovic, whilst winding up the white heart of London.

Erling Haaland
The fans’ choice. Every set of supporters in the world, that is. Erling Haaland will come at a nine-figure price, with Borussia Dortmund insistent the Norwegian will not leave the club this summer. Instead, Jadon Sancho si more likely to be available to keep the wolves away from Haaland.

The 20-year-old’s pedigree is undoubted and proven on the world’s biggest stage in club football. Haaland’s Champions League and Bundesliga return show he is interested in one thing, and one thing only (not bent coppers), scoring goals.

With the number of technicians Chelsea boast in number 10 areas, such as Mason Mount, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic, Haaland would only add to an exciting young core filling the Chelsea squad.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Everton, adding goals to his already impressive line-up play and aerial prowess.

The former Sheffield United frontman has established himself as one of the league’s most exciting marksmen, scoring 15 goals in only 27 Premier League starts.

The 24-year-old will attract summer interest and given how he has developed under Carlo Ancelotti, an upgrade to the service around him yet wield more goals.
