Frank Lampard calls up two Chelsea wonderkids for training ahead of PL return

Chelsea players have taken the next step ahead of the 2019/20 Premier League season resuming.

After it was announced that the campaign will return on June 17 – with the Blues facing Aston Villa away from home – players of all other 19 clubs have been permitted to take part in contact training for a week now.

It’s phase two of the Premier League ‘Project Restart’ plan and the first week of June has seen the Blues squad continue their preparations for English football’s return.

Chelsea players in a training session on Thursday at Cobham was the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi, Mason Mount, Bily Gilmour, Tammy Abraham, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic and many others.

However, Blues head coach Frank Lampard took another look at academy duo Armando Broja and Faustino Anjorin.
