Frank Lampard has been sent smart £75 million transfer message ahead of possible Chelsea deal

According to Former Chelsea defender Frank Sinclair has urged the Blues not to spend too much on Leicester full-back Ben Chilwell.

We all know that Frank Lampard is eager to spend some serious money in the transfer window and bring in another left-back to the side, as that is an area of the pitch that they are having serious issues in.

That has led to alot of speculation in the media which has suggested that Ben Chilwell is the clubs number one transfer target, with the Leicester City man now regarded as one of the very best in Europe.

But negotiations have proved more difficult than expected with the Foxes demanding a world record fee for a defender, exceeding the £80m Man Utd paid to sign Harry Maguire, it has started to put Chelsea off making a possible transfer move.

And although Ex-Chelsea defender Sinclair rates Chilwell highly, but the 48-year-old has called on his former club to avoid paying over the odds for the Foxes star.

Speaking to GentingBet about Chelsea’s expected transfer business, Sinclair said: “Ben Chilwell is still a tough nut to crack.

“When you when you hear the way that Brendan Rodgers talks about Ben Chilwell, so strongly and how much [he is] a part of Leicester City going forward, I guess it would be a difficult one and he’s always going to be a very, very overpriced signing.

“For me, there’s a lot of world class, fullbacks out there and Frank has to get the right one for Chelsea Football Club.

“Obviously Ben Chilwell is a top player and England International, but I don’t think Chelsea should pay over the odds for him.”
