Frank Lampard ready to make three signings after Kai Havertz development

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is ready to make another three signings this summer. The Blues have wrapped up their transfer business early this year. Lampard has already signed Ajax playmaker Hakim Ziyech, while the Blues have also agreed a deal to bring RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner to west London.

And according to the Guardian, Lampard is eyeing another three signings as the Blues eye a Premier League title charge next season.

Chelsea boss Lampard could sign Leicester left-back Ben Chilwell, West Ham’s Declan Rice and Kai Havertz of Bayer Leverkusen. Chilwell is Lampard’s top target to slot in at left-back.

The Blues boss has concerns over Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri – and England international Chilwell could be Chelsea’s starting left-back for years to come.

Chilwell’s England team-mate Rice has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

The 21-year-old can play at centre-back or as a defensive midfielder. Rice’s versatility is appealing to Lampard, who is considering a summer bid. Finally, is Bayer Leverkusen’s Havertz.

The Germany international would be Chelsea’s most expensive summer signing if the playmaker heads to Stamford Bridge.
