Good News: Lampard handed injury boost as starlet’s training return date is set

According to The Sun, Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi will return to training within the next seven days.

The 19-year-old suffered a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury last week, but the player is confident that he could be back in action before the end of the month.

The Blues star has not played since the 2-2 draw against Leicester City at the beginning of February, and he will remain absent from Frank Lampard’s squad until after the next international break.

Once back in training, Hudson-Odoi is expected to take advantage of the gap in domestic fixtures in order to build up his fitness and be ready for Chelsea’s game against West Ham on April 5th.

Whether his recovery will go smoothly this time, it remains to be seen. Hamstring injuries can be tricky to shake off, and the London club’s medical staff will want to be extra careful that he doesn’t suffer another recurrence.
