Great News: Chelsea enter race for goalkeeper to replace Kepa

Chelsea join Everton and Celtic in the race for Gillingham highly rated goalkeeper Joe Walsh.

This is according to The Sun.

However, the 17 year old goalkeeper has been limited to just three EFL Trophy appearances this season, keeping one clean sheet and conceding seven goals.

Despite Kepa Arrizabalaga’s struggles in goal for Chelsea this season, Walsh is unlikely to be thrown straight into the first team.

The potential signing of the goalkeeper is one for the future and not the present.

Arrizabalaga will most likely continue as Chelsea’s first choice stopper until the end of the season but his future will be in doubt if his poor form in goal continues.

Do you think he can replace KEPA ?
