Great news: Kante travel to Baku, but still major doubt to play Arsenal

According to the Guardian, Chelsea relish hope N’Golo Kante will win the battle against time to recover ahead of the crucial game of the season vs Arsenal.

It is reported the Frenchman will travel with the team to Azerbaijan on Monday, though he didn’t take part in the latest training session.

The 27-year-old had almost completely recovered from the calf strain. However, Kante suffered a knock to his knee and Sarri in the during the latest training on Saturday.

The injury has turned out to be less severe than it was initially expected.

The report reads: “He drove himself into the Cobham complex again on Monday and was apparently moving freely enough.

Though he sat out the team’s final session before their departure for Azerbaijan and remains a major doubt for the final.”

The midfielder will be closely monitored by the medical department.
Antonio Rudiger, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek will all miss the Europa League final through injuries.
