Guardiola names the club that won’t challenge for title between Chelsea, Man utd, Liverpool & Arsenal

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has given his verdict on the Premier League title chances of Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Guardiola appeared to snub Manchester United as serious title contenders while giving his Premier League predictions.

“They are the biggest favourite,” Guardiola said of Liverpool. “But I think this season, what’s happened with the pandemic, the situation is different.

“As a team they’re really, really strong, they’ve still maintained the same level as last season – except last month… How did they drop points when nobody expected them to? Incredible results.

Moving on to the other competitors, he went on: “Arsenal have made an incredibly big step forward to be a contender.

“And Tottenham. Mourinho’s now got the team like he wants.

“Chelsea… In the beginning was a little bit like this [wobbles his head], but now is stable, not conceding goals, scoring lots of goals, a big squad. For rotation you need top, top players.”

“In this moment, United is not [up there] in terms of the results,” he added.

“But I know the quality we saw from them last season in terms of results and how difficult they are because tip front they are incredibly fast and clinical. “They are top class.”
