Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been listed as a Crystal Palace player on the Premier League website, fueling rumours that the could be set to leave us before the end of the transfer window.
Loftus-Cheek’s omission from the match-day squad on Sunday came as a surprise to some – bizarrely. The sole midfielder on the bench was Danny Drinkwater, who has far more minutes under his belt after featuring throughout pre-season.
The England international was at Stamford Bridge. He walked through the mixed zone with the rest of the squad. We were there to see it!

Still, speculation linking him with the exit door refuses to go away. It’s only been made worse with the Premier League listing Loftus-Cheek as being on-loan at Crystal Palace for the 2018/19 season on their website.
The same thing has happened with Manchester United’s Timothy Fosu-Mensah, who according to the Daily Mail, is set to join Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin on-loan.
It’s probably just a glitch. Don’t read too far into it.
