Hazard: ‘My future? I know what I’m going to do. I decided’

Eden Hazard’s future at Chelsea remains unclear with various reports claiming Real Madrid haven’t given up on signing the 28-year-old whose current deal with the Blues runs out in 18 months.

The Belgian has confirmed he has already made a decision on his future at Chelsea.

“My future? I know what I’m going to do. I decided,” Hazard recently told RMC Sport.

As it stands, we’ll probably know the Belgian’s final decision only after the current season. Meanwhile, Guillem Balague, renowned Spanish journalist’ believes Hazard is waiting for Real Madrid and Chelsea starting negotiations as the 28=year-old ‘not finding common ground’ with Maurizio Sarri at the moment.

“If Eden Hazard was absolutely focused at Chelsea because you think you’re going to be there for 10 years I think we’d see more consistency form from Hazard,” said on Guillem Balague Transfer Show. “And more respect towards the manager in terms of what he does on the pitch.

“Hazard is his own man, Sarri wants him to do a certain job so they’re both not finding common ground right now but Hazard – if he thinks he’s going to be there 10 years – will listen and perhaps apply that to his football.

“I think he is obviously waiting for Real Madrid to start negotiations with Chelsea.

“Real Madrid need to recycle, they actually are putting a lot of effort into developing some young players… but that is just something that has to go side by side with signing superstars.”
