Jadon Sancho put in a stellar performance during Borussia Dortmund’s 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League knockout stages, and Chelsea fans were loving it after being linked to the star
Chelsea have already made their first move of the summer transfer window, agreeing a deal to sign Hakim Ziyech from Ajax for a fee of £33million.
But fans of the Blues are already eyeing their next move, with links to the likes of Ben Chilwell and Jude Bellingham cropping up in recent weeks. One star that has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge for a number of months is Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
The former Manchester City attacker has been in phenomenal form since leaving in 2017 for the Bundesliga, and the 19-year-old is pulling up trees in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
The German side were in action on Tuesday night in the first leg of a mouthwatering tie against Neymar and Kylian Mbappe’s Paris Saint-Germain side, and put in a commanding performance against the French champions. The England international created three chances in the game, with no player creating more while he was on the pitch.
And aside from that his link-up play and understanding with Dortmund’s new striker Erling Braut Haaland is showing tremendous potential – but Chelsea fans are hoping it won’t be for long – comparing him to one of their best-ever players.
Sancho is really it man, he's proven it on almost all stages. Getting him is an actual must cause we'll be set for the decade.
