How Chelsea could lineup for first game of 2020/21 season after transfers

Chelsea have been tipped to have a busy summer in the transfer market. Despite being freed up to sign players in January after having their two-window transfer ban halved by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard was unable to secure new recruits for his Blues squad.

However, it is unlikely that this summer’s window will be as quiet as Lampard aims to establish Chelsea as Premier League contenders.

The signing of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax has already been confirmed, while the Blues have been linked with some exciting names in recent weeks, including Borussia Dortmund ace Jadon Sancho, Lyon striker Moussa Dembele and West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice.

Taking those names into consideration, here is how Chelsea could line up in the 2020/21 season. In addition, here’s what Lampard’s dream squad for next term would look like.
