Chelsea have been dealt a huge blow ahead of the summer transfer window after a key transfer target opted to join Spanish club Barcelona.
According to Spanish media outlet Sport, Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez has agreed personal terms with Barcelona ahead of a summer move to the Spanish club.
This comes as a huge blow to Lampard, who had hoped to revolutionise Chelsea’s attacking line with the Inter Milan striker as part of a £300million overhaul this summer.
All that is left for the Argentine’s transfer to be completed is for Barcelona and Inter Milan to agree a transfer fee.
