Alex Telles makes decision and paves way for £35 million completed move to Chelsea!

According to reports in Portugal, Chelsea have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of Porto left-back Alex Telles in the summer after the player has switched agents to one who is known for having a “big influence” in the Premier League,

Blues boss Frank Lampard has struggled to find a left-back he is completely happy with this season and while the club have been keenon Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell the Blues are also exploring other options.

One such transfer target is Alex Telles, who according to Portuguese newspaper Record, has a £35million release clause in his contract. The 27-year-old Brazilian star has recently changed agents it is claimed will make his move to the Premier League a lot easier.

The paper says Telles is now represented by agent Pini Zahavi, after previously having his sister Hellen deal with his affairs. Zahavi also has close links to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich after having helped the Russian purchase the Blues back in 2003.

Telles has been impressive for Porto since arriving from Galatasaray in 2016 for around £7.5m. The 27-year-old has scored 21 goals and provided 52 assists in 183 appearances for Porto.

It is believed Porto are considering selling their talented defender in the summer as his current contract only runs until 2021 and talks have reached a deadlock over an extension.
