“I don’t belong to Chelsea”: Blues’ midfielder admits.

It was in 2014 Chelsea registered the signature of Mario Pasalic from Croatian outfit Hajduk Split but was short-while loaned to Spanish side Elche who later was transferred on loan afterwards to Monaco, Ac Milan and Russian giants Spartak Moscow.
While Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri replaced Antonio Conte, it was Pasalic’s turn to catch the eyes of his new boss. He joined his Chelsea teammates in the pre-season in Australia but was disappointed to have fallen off his manager’s pecking order before his loan spell to Napoli where he can be re-signed for a permanent deal in 2019.

The 23-year-old player spoke to a sports station in Italy, his concerns as he explained why it’s been a Herculean task to join his parent club in a quest to fight for playing time.

“I asked myself another question. What good would it have done me to sit on the bench? I don’t belong at Chelsea right now, or at any top club.” He said.

Sarri is enjoying a great spell with his team, while a few of the players are still hunting for playing time.
The central midfielder, however, is not ruling out the hope of returning to England as he believed he would return when he’s good enough.
