John Terry explained why the season should end

The Premier League is determined to end the season come what may, and there have been talks that the rest of the season could be played behind closed doors.

Meanwhile, former Chelsea skipper John Terry has revealed that he isn’t in support of the league games without fans and would rather have the season wait until everything returns to normalcy.

“I’ve never experienced it as a player and I just think it’d be bizarre,” the iconic centre-back said during a fan Q&A session on Instagram. “If it takes a little bit longer to get everyone back on their feet and get people back in the stadiums, that’s what we live for in England.

“That’s why the Premier League is the best in the world, the supporters and how they feel in our country and the atmosphere in all sports just makes the event.

“Without that, it just wouldn’t be the same. If that’s what we have to do, then we’ll obviously go ahead and play but it’ll be strange.”
