Jose Mourinho set to hijack Chelsea transfer target after losing Harry Kane to injury

Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has made Chelsea transfer target Moussa Dembele his top transfer target, according to Daily Star.

Mourinho is keen on signing a striker after losing Harry Kane to injury. The English forward has been ruled out until April after it emerged that he will need surgery on his hamstring.

According to Goal, the former Manchester United manager is attracted to the 23-year-old forward due to his goalscoring record for Lyon.

Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard for days has revealed his interest in the French Ligue 1 striker.

Chelsea have been chasing the signature of Dembele all January and have already had a bid for the Frenchman rejected.

Tottenham joining the race for Dembele will likely skyrocket his transfer price.

However, The President of Lyon, Jean-Michel Aulas, had noted that Dembele was not for sale during the January transfer window.
