According to The Sun, Chelsea’s £34 million bid for Moussa Dembele has been rejected by Lyon.
It is believed Chelsea offered £34 million plus Olivier Giroud for Dembele but Lyon have no intention of selling.
Lyon reacted to Chelsea’s bid for Dembele with a statement on their website:
“Olympique Lyonnais has taken note of certain information relayed by the media suggesting that Moussa Dembele could interest other clubs during this transfer window.
“OL would like to reaffirm its wish, as in the summer of 2019, to keep Moussa Dembele.
“The club has full confidence in Moussa and counts in particular on him to build a successful team for the seasons to come.”
We really need to act fast in this transfer window and sign players we need now that OL as rejected the deal lets go for Werner.
