Kante resumes training. Read what Lampard have to say

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante resumed training with the rest of the squad last week Tuesday, but refused to train with his teammates afterwards.

The Chelsea midfielder was granted compassionate leave to train at home due to the coronavirus fears.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard even admitted that he understood the plight of the World Cup winner as he sympathised with the Frenchman. It was even reported that Kante could be granted compassionate leave until the end of the season.

According to reports, Kante has now began training solo for the first time since he was granted compassionate leave due to his coronavirus fears.

The 29-year-old is now back at Cobham training, albeit alone, in recent development.

Frank Lampard has held talks with Kante about the phase two stage of training and has tried to assure his key player about the safety measures the club has taken in recent days.
