Kenedy loan deal to Sassuolo almost done

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Italia, Sassuolo have approached Chelsea over Kenedy signing of late.

Rogerio, the Neroverdi first-choice left-back, has suffered an injury, the severity of which is not known yet.

Thus the Serie A outfit are eyeing a loan move for the Chelsea flop until September 2 – the transfer window deadline day in Europe.

The 23-year-old is said to be open to the Blues exit either on loan or permanent basis after failing to impress Lampard during the pre-season (Goal).

The likes of Fenerbahce (Fotomac) and Reading (Carefree Youth) have been linked with a move for the Brazilian lately.

The Blues signed Kenedy from Fluminense for an €8 million fee in the summer of 2015.

He’s made only 27 appearances in all competitions since then. His current contract at the Bridge expires next summer.
