Of all the signings made by Frank Lampard this summer, only Timo Werner and Kai Havertz have made their debuts for the club.
Thiago Silva is yet to feature for the Blues, while Hakim Ziyech and Ben Chilwell are yet to make a return from injury.
Ahead of Wednesday’s clash against Barnsley in the Carabao Cup, Lampard has said that only Silva will make his Blues debut in that game.
Asked if new signings like Ben Chilwell and Hakim Ziyech could feature, Lampard said Thiago was the only one capable of featuring: “Too soon probably in terms of fitness wise.
“We’ll see with Thiago because Thiago’s not coming back off an injury, he’s just getting fit. ‘The others it seems too soon, but they are not far away.”
