Lampard is happy to let £25 million Chelsea player to leave in summer as he tender transfer request

Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri could leave Stamford Bridge in the summer with Serie A champions Juventus preparing a bid of £25 million, according to Daily Express.

The Serie A giants have been tracking the Brazil-born Italian international for months, and had one offer rebuffed in January.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is happy to let the left-back leave in the summer after he failed to cement his place in the starting XI, with Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso being preferred options.

Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri is keen on strengthening his defence in the summer and has made signing Emerson a top priority ahead of the summer transfer window.

Emerson cost Chelsea £17.6m when he joined them from Roma in January 2018.
